Account and Data Deletion

This page allows users of SaiGon Match (package name: saigonmatch.com.vn) to request permanent deletion of their account and all associated personal data. You do not need to sign in to the app to use this page.

Important: To protect your account security, we must verify that the requester controls the registered email or account before deleting any personal data. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

How to Request Account Deletion

Option 1 - In-App (Recommended):

  1. Open SaiGon Match and sign in to your account.
  2. Go to Settings → Privacy → Account Deletion.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to submit your deletion request.

Option 2 - Via Email:

Send an email to our support team from the email address connected to your SaiGon Match account:

If the button above does not open your email client, manually send an email to supportsaigonmatch@gmail.com with the subject "SaiGon Match Account Deletion Request".

What to Include in Your Email

  • Your registered email address (or the email used for Google/Facebook sign-in).
  • Your display name or username in the app.
  • A clear deletion request statement.
  • Optional: Reason for leaving (helps us improve).

Data That Will Be Deleted

Upon verification and processing, the following personal data will be permanently deleted:

  • Account Profile: name, photo, email, provider IDs, bio, birth date, gender, education, hometown, preferences, and all profile data.
  • User Content: social posts, comments, replies, reactions, and media uploads.
  • Private Messages: your chat messages and private conversations (messages visible to other participants may persist as part of their chat history).
  • Location Data: location history, geohash data, and proximity search logs.
  • System Identifiers: push notification tokens, session records, and Firebase diagnostic metadata.

Data That May Be Retained

Limited information may be retained only as permitted or required under applicable regulations:

  • Safety and moderation logs (account bans, content moderation flags) to prevent repeat abuse and maintain community safety.
  • Conversation history visible to other participants (to preserve their own chat records).
  • Automated server backups (purged automatically on routine cycles).

Processing Timeframe

We will verify your request and reply within 7 days. Verified account deletions will be fully processed within 30 days of request receipt.
